ZANESVILLE, Ohio-–A Zanesville physician who served the local community for decades has passed away. Dr. Carl Schowengerdt died Thursday, August 20 at Primose Retirement Community of Zanesville . He was 95-years-old. According to his obituary, Dr. Schowengerdt came to Zanesville, Ohio in the mid 1980’s to practice thoracic and vascular surgery.
