Longmont Recreation Center temporary closure extended through end of August

The Longmont Recreation Center at 310 Quail Road will be closed for maintenance Aug. 18-31, according to a news release. The city’s recreation facilities close annually for maintenance on systems and equipment, but this year’s maintenance closure will extend an extra week to finish repairing the pool and for a full resurfacing of the gym floor, the release says.
