Residents of the Loiret attack their water union for water that has become brown and unfit for consumption

On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the judicial court of Orléans considered the conflict between the inhabitants of Chatenoy, Combreux, Sury-aux-Bois, in the Loiret, and their water management union. The water of some inhabitants is no longer fit for consumption for several years.

This Wednesday, the Orléans court will look at an arm of iron between residents of Chatenoy, Combreux, Sury-aux-Bois and their water management union. At the heart of the case, a tap water contaminated for years by high concentrations of manganese and CVM gas.
