After a week’s long competition at Utah High School State Finals four Emery and one Carbon rodeo athletes qualified for nationals in Wyoming in July. Wyatt Fox was once again the champion in the light rifle shoot, Whit Weber ended up third in the Reining Cow competition, Kamz Rich was third in bulls and Quirt Payne fourth in barebacks. PINE RIVER — Pine River area competitors will be among the participants Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, in the annual Bull Bash in Nimrod, including Tanner Pickar, Senior Mini Division, and Kanin Borntrager, Junior Mini Division.
