The ANC issued a statement this Saturday denouncing the "irregular detention" of eight pro-independence minors with "disproportionate use of force by the Mossos" during the Diada anti-fascist demonstration. It also denounced vexatious comments and lack of information to relatives.
Activists have burned containers and thrown objects at the Mossos, who have acted to disperse them.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have charged this evening against groups of protesters on Passeig de Sant Joan in Barcelona, where there have been throwing objects and burning containers. The incidents have reached the Ronda de Sant Pere, next to the Arc de Triomf, where the concerts of the Festival for the Freedom of Omnium were held.
