Livingston Parish homes near Walker to gain reliable internet through state program

WALKER — Hundreds of homes near Walker are getting access to reliable internet coverage through a state-funded broadband program.Connect LA and Spectrum say the investment is part of the GUMBO program, which allocates state money toward improving broadband across Louisiana.More than 49,000 locations around the state have received broadband access through the GUMBO program so far, including 41,000 homes.Permalink
