Lithuania is strengthening its control over Russian grain through the port of Klaipeda, and the authorities are checking whether part of the cargo can actually be Ukrainian grain illegally exported by Russia.
As some Klaipėda Seaport stevedoring companies are loading Russian grain again, Lithuania is tightening its inspections - Agriculture Minister Kęstutis Mažeika told BNS that he has instructed the Veterinary Service to inspect food grains transported through the port from Russia - this has not been done until now.
