(+) Expresses Interest in Norwegian-Built Ships

Minister of Defense Tore O. Sandvik believes that Norwegian industry must shift from producing for the civilian sector to producing more for the Armed Forces and the military sector. Lithuania has already signaled interest in purchasing vessels to be built at Norwegian shipyards.

In Vilnius the Minister of Defense Dovilė Šakalienė, on the occasion of the visit of the Norwegian counterpart Tore O. Sandvik, has announced the interest of Lithuania to buy Vanguard multirole ships, a model of unit proposed from Kongsberg Maritime.
