- Norris received medical attention for about 20 minutes on the field before being transported by ambulance to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where he stayed overnight for observation and extra monitoring in stable condition.
- The day after the injury, Norris posted on social media, saying he was "all good man don't stress it" and thanked everyone for their support, accompanying the message with a Bible verse from 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
- Norris returned to the Lions' training facility two days after the incident, with the team preparing for two remaining preseason matchups before opening their 2025 NFL season at Lambeau Field against Green Bay on September 7.
