The Latin Recording Academy announced on June 30 who will be the people who will receive the Music Excellence Award and, among them, the Dominican singer Chichí Peralta. This is a recognition given to “interpreters who throughout their careers have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic value to Latin music and its communities,” the Academy explains on its website.
