A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend on Means Avenue in Hopkinsville Friday night. Hopkinsville Police say 59-year-old Norman Burrus followed his ex-girlfriend into her home, choked her, shoved her to the ground, then left the home.
