Karol Nawrocki announced the decision on the law known as the “lex charlatan”. He referred her to the Constitutional Court in the mode of preventive control. “What the president did does not fit in my head. The translations of his colleagues are irrational, unjustified. It works for the benefit of charlatans, not Poles,” said Marcin Kulasek, Minister of Science and Higher Education, in the program “Gość poranka”.

Karol Nawrocki, quite cleverly, didn't veto the "lex quack" bill, but instead tipped the ball over to the Constitutional Tribunal. A veto would have been risky for the president and would have exposed him to accusations of siding with quacks and opposing scientific knowledge. Even some right-wing voters might have a problem with that.
