Letter: The ugly, new attitude of racism

To the Editor: It is with great sadness that I read about the shooting of a peaceful protester and mother in Minneapolis. In America, we are still allowed to peacefully protest things we feel are unfair or unjust, but these very liberties as U.S. citizens are now under assault.
