Letter: I, too, extend an apology to Canada

To the editor, I am writing regarding the March 16 letter to the editor by Kaye Carlson, apologizing to our friends and neighbors to the north for our leadership’s bizarre insinuation that Canada should become the 51st state. I would say I agree with that apology 100% and would like to add my own apologies for the proposed tariffs. This is no way to treat our friends, and hopefully the tariffs will be rescinded.
