Lens signs former France winger Florian Thauvin from Italian side Udinese
PAS-DE-CALAIS, HAUTS-DE-FRANCE, AUG 8 – Florian Thauvin returns to France's Ligue 1 with Lens on a three-year deal after scoring eight goals last season for Udinese in Italy's Serie A.
- On Friday, Lens secured a three-year deal with 32-year-old Florian Thauvin, the ex-France winger who captained Udinese in Italy’s Serie A last season.
- Thauvin joined Udinese in January 2023 after leaving Marseille and an unsuccessful stint at Mexican club Tigres.
- He captained Udinese last season, scored eight league goals, and totaled 15 goals in 73 appearances during his time there.
