Leflore County jobless rate down to 6.5% dmonroe Thu, 09/25/2025 - 01:14 PM Leflore County’s unemployment rate fell to 6.5% in August, according to figures released Tuesday by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security. The rate was lower than July’s 7.1% figure but higher than the August 2024 rate of 5.3%.
