Leavenworth launches crowdfunding campaign for new park that will transform grassy strip

Something the community can be proud of and will catch the eye of visitors, that's what the town of Leavenworth envisions for a new town park. The town is working with the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority to raise $40,000 to develop Leavenworth River Park, currently a strip of land along the Ohio River Scenic Byway. If successful, the campaign goal will be matched by the IHCDA's CreatINg Places program.
