Altach had a man advantage against the Bulls for 70 minutes, but struggled more than they did with equal numbers. Fabio Ingolitsch identified a lack of basic skills and was "irritated." Diawara at least managed to salvage the point.

In the home match against Altach on Sunday, football vice-champion Salzburg did not get beyond a 2:2.
