Led by Rob Lawson's 24 points, the Morgan State Bears defeated the Howard Bison 78-77 on Saturday. The Bears improved to 7-13 with the victory and the Bison fell to 12-9.

Morgan State men win another late one, this time at Howard's expense

For the second weekend in a row, Morgan State waited until almost the last second but sent an opposing MEAC crowd home disappointed. Eugene Alvin’s layup with 5 seconds left boosted the Bears to a 78-77 win at Howard, one week after they defeated Delaware State 80-79 in Dover.
