Louisiana bill aimed at lowering cost of groceries fails in House Committee

House Bill 800, also known as the "Make Affordable Groceries Again" bill, failed to advance out of the House Commerce Committee, disappointing State Representative Alonzo Knox who had introduced the bill in an effort to reduce grocery prices and other costs for Louisiana residents.
