EADaily, June 30th, 2025. The military and relevant services of Russia and Kazakhstan are in contact on the topic of the flight of UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of the republic to strike targets in the Russian regions. This was stated to journalists by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov following the results of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO Ministerial Council).
The authorities of Kazakhstan assured Moscow that, in their contacts with Ukraine, they accept drones from the U.S.U. over its territory to cease flying, as reported by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergei Lavrov, following negotiations with a Kazakh colleague, Murat Nurtleu, on the margins of the meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Cholpon Ata, TASS.
