- Hazards from the eruption include volcanic gas, ash, pumice and Pele's hair that can travel more than 10 miles, while flows covered nearly 80% of the Halema'uma'u crater floor.
- The eruption series continues to vary in size and frequency, as most fountaining episodes last about a day or less and Episode 35 last month produced the highest fountain.
