Latvia's births drop 12.6% in Q1

Latvia's births in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by 12.6 percent year-on-year, the national statistical office said Tuesday, reported Xinhua. The number of babies born in the January-March period dropped to 2,756 this year from 3,154 in the first quarter of 2024.
