The Latvian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that on December 22, the country's government approved a decision to extend the enhanced border security regime with Belarus until June 30, 2026.
Latvia will extend the enhanced border security with Belarus until the end of June next year for security reasons, the Latvian Interior Ministry announced today. It explained that the decision was made due to the still high number of attempts to illegally cross the border, reports the German news agency dpa.
