Lane closure on I-79 near Fairmont moving to southbound side

FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — After several days of major traffic delays on Interstate 79 northbound in Marion County, officials say that the traffic will now switch directions starting Wednesday. On Monday and Tuesday, traffic was backed up going northbound for several miles toward Harrison County while crews worked on the interstate between the White Hall and Pleasant Valley exits.
