'Surreal' for F1 World Champion Norris to Have Tussauds Waxwork

Lando Norris’s wax figure will be displayed among sports and cultural icons at Madame Tussauds, celebrating his rise after winning his first Formula 1 world championship.

  • Lando Norris, Formula 1's reigning world champion, will have his likeness exhibited at London's Madame Tussauds this summer. "It's pretty surreal to think I'll have a figure in Madame Tussauds, it's such a big honour," Norris said.
  • Victory in his first world championship at the end of last year boosted Norris's fame, following a close-run battle with Max Verstappen and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
  • During a visit earlier this year, Norris worked with waxwork artists to match his likeness, with the team capturing every precise detail. "Working with the artists has been awesome," Norris said.
  • Showcased alongside other stars, the waxwork will stand with figures including Lewis Hamilton, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah, Mary Earps, Anthony Joshua, Kylian Mbappé, and the Royal Family.
  • Madame Tussauds general manager Steve Blackburn said Norris is "firmly at the forefront of modern sport and culture," describing him as ambitious, fearless, and hugely popular with fans worldwide.
