Lance Allen withdraws from Frederick supervisor's race following shoplifting charges

FREDERICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA, JUL 17 – Lance Allen withdrew after facing three misdemeanor shoplifting charges involving over $460 from two grocery stores, prompting the local Republican Committee to seek a replacement candidate.

Lance Allen, the Republican nominee for the Stonewall District seat on the Frederick County Board of Supervisors, has officially withdrawn from the race following three shoplifting charges being brought against him last week.
