The Christian County Lady Colonels’ volleyball team competed in the Apollo Summer Slam Down Tournament on Saturday in Owensboro. Christian County dropped 2-0 matches to Daviess County and West Jessamine but rebounded to defeat Evansville Harrison 2-0. Lady Maroons Finish 1-5 at Apollo Summer Slam Down
A full weekend on the volleyball court for the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons. The Lady Maroons were in Owensboro Friday and Saturday, taking part in the Apollo Summer Slam Down. The Lady Maroons opened play Friday night against 3rd Region opponent Breckinridge County. The Lady Tigers, who entered the weekend at 4-0, took a straight set match, winning 25-8 and 25-8.
