LABOR DAY PREVIEW: Trufant Jubilee celebrates community’s 150th anniversary

This year’s Trufant Jubilee is extra special as the festival coincides with the town’s sesquicentennial. Emery Trufant built the first water-powered sawmill in Trufant in 1872. The community became a village in 1875. And now, 150 years later, the 46th annual Jubilee will take place Aug. 29-31 in Stump Fence Capital USA. Oops!
