“La Philharmonica” with New Year's Concert in Vienna's Ehrbar Saal

The newly founded chamber orchestra “La Philharmonica”, which consists exclusively of female members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform a New Year's concert in Vienna's Ehrbar Saal on January 1, 2025. Seven female musicians would “make a clear statement right from the start of their first concert that they appreciate the works of female composers played far too rarely and the work of female musicians,” as stated in a broadcast.
