La Mesa offers e-bike incentive for residents, workers

People who live or work in La Mesa and are at least 18 can receive up to $1,200 to purchase an electric bike as part of a program to promote cycling as a main source of transportation in the city. The program is funded through a $45,000 grant from San Diego Community Power, and applications are accepted until 11:59 p.m. April 14.
