According to West Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd., the Kyushu Expressway is closed to traffic in both directions from 1:20 p.m. on the 1st, between Ebino Interchange (IC) and Mizobe Kagoshima Airport IC, and between Kobayashi IC and Ebino Junction (JCT) on the Miyazaki Expressway. The closure is due to a vehicle fire that broke out near Kurino IC. Firefighting efforts are underway, and there is no estimate yet for when the closures will be reopened.
