Krezip with Own Drummer at Pinkpop: Played in Another Band for a While

Bram van den Berg will be back on stage at Pinkpop with his colleagues from Krezip on Sunday. The drummer was away for a while, because according to singer Jacqueline Govaert he was playing drums "for another band". From September 2023 to March last year, Van den Berg replaced U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr., who had to recover from surgery.
She was just a puppy of 18 years old, when Jacqueline Govaert (43) gave a historic performance with her band Krezip during Pinkpop. That was exactly 25 years ago this edition of the festival and that is why it is celebrated in a big way. Krezip just gave a special anniversary performance and we were there like a shot and spoke to the ecstatic singer afterwards.
