Kraken Unveil Glow-in-the-Dark Alternate Jerseys

On Thursday, the Seattle Kraken unveiled The Abyss third jersey, an all-black design featuring glow-in-the-dark crest, nameplates, and numbers.
Drawing on local marine bioluminescence, the Kraken's jersey features a blacked-out 'stealth' logo and 'sonar sleeves' inspired by Pacific Northwest waters, aiming for an intense, authentic look.
Season-Ticket holders will get first access on Sept. 5, with preorder running through Sept. 10; public presales start Sept. 11, and merchandise arrives Oct. 9 at Kraken Team Stores.
The jersey debuts on Nov. 1 at Climate Pledge Arena vs. New York Rangers and will be worn 12 times during 2025-26, with black gloves, shorts, socks, and matte helmets debuting Nov. 5.
Looking ahead, the Kraken plan to keep the kit in rotation for the 2025-26 season and at least two seasons after, with the team saying the glow evokes beauty and mystery inspired by Pacific Northwest plankton.
