Update: Beach hazards statement in place for Northern Erie until 1 a.m. Saturday

On Thursday at 3:42 a.m. an updated beach hazards statement was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 2 p.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Northern Erie.The weather service adds, "High risk of rip currents expected."
