Kolhapur: Sugarcane crop is being hit hard by a weed called 'Gholi' and it is having a serious impact on the growth of sugarcane. Heaps of this weed removed by farmers are visible on the farm embankments and roads. This weed has spread to more than half of the areas in Bhudargad taluka including Kur, Minche, Hedwade.
