John 12:8 “You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me." I have noticed something about the way I read this sentence and I’m wondering if we all do it? I tend to insert a “will” and change the do to a “will not”, so that the verse reads “Youwill always have the poor with you, but youwill not always have me."
