WILLIAMSPORT — The inmate who stabbed an Allenwood Federal Penitentiary corrections officer in the eye in 2020 is competent to stand trial, the prosecution and defense agree.Assistant U.S. Attorney Geoffrey W. MacArthur on Wednesday asked U.S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann to issue an order to that effect without scheduling a competency hearing.
