Kindergarten students kick off school year with ‘signing day’

SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — While typically a tradition reserved for student-athletes, incoming kindergarten students were able to kick off the school year with a “signing day” on Friday.  Parents, families and incoming Toler Elementary School students were able to tour the campus, meet teachers and have a photo opportunity in front of a school banner. Students were also able to sign a certificate that read “our newest dolphin,” the school’s mascot.…
