- During descent from Tadiandamol Peak on Thursday, Sharanya separated from her 12-person trekking group after pausing briefly, losing her way in dense forest.
- Nearly 70 personnel from the Forest Department, Anti-Naxal Force, and local volunteers deployed 12 search teams using thermal imaging drones and mobile tracking to comb the area.
- Environment Minister Eshwar Khandre confirmed Sharanya is healthy with no complications after surviving three days on water alone; she spoke with her mother shortly after rescue.
- Local Adiya community members including Raju, Aiyappa, Subramani, and Mani proved instrumental, their forest knowledge guiding authorities to locate Sharanya in a sacred grove region.
