- According to the FIR and police, the vehicle struck a Royal Enfield after exiting the Trivandrum Club, with the car registered to Sudheer Kumar Raju and crashing during a sudden U-turn towards Kowdiar.
- Two 20-year-old riders, Sooraj and Nidev, suffered serious leg and spinal injuries and were hospitalized, while police recovered a detached number plate and damaged bumper parts.
- Authorities registered a case under Sections 281 and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 134 and 134 of the Motor Vehicles Act, recording the arrest before releasing him on bail.
- A veteran actor, Maniyanpilla Raju said he panicked after the crash and later surrendered, claiming he is a cancer survivor now suffering chikungunya and that CCTV footage would show the motorcycle hit his car.
