Kauai sees more whales during recent count

LIHUE — For the second time this year, 487 volunteers collected data on kohola, or humpback whales, from the shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai and Hawaii Island during the Hawaiian Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Ocean Count on Saturday.
