Katherine “Kathie” Owens Shelleman, 61, of Biglerville, died Oct. 1, 2026, at home, surrounded by family, after a 12-year battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 17, 1964, in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Clark and Sarah “Sally” Talmadge Owens. Shelleman worked as a bartender at several area businesses, primarily at the Gettysburg American Legion. Her family remembered her quick wit and love of jokes.
