A judicial inquiry into the September 24th violent clashes in Leh will begin on Saturday (October 25, 2025), and victims will be invited to testify before the members of the inquiry panel. On October 17th, the Centre announced a judicial inquiry, headed by a retired Supreme Court judge, into the Leh clashes, which claimed the lives of four people, including a former soldier who fought in the 1999 Kargil War.
