This month, a judge overruled Providence’s attempts to dismiss an ongoing lawsuit surrounding a Eureka woman who was allegedly denied emergency abortion care at St. Joseph Hospital after her water broke at 15 weeks pregnant because of the hospital’s abortion policy.
