A death investigation is underway in Joplin after an infant passed away at the Oxford Apartments on East 34th Street. The 911 “unknown trouble” call came in around 8:40 am Thursday morning. At the scene, Joplin emergency responders discovered that a 9-month-old was unconscious and not breathing.
