CHESAPEAKE — For the past three seasons, Joey Wood has been on the opposing sideline as an Oscar Smith assistant coach when the Tigers faced his alma mater, Great Bridge. But now he’s going to be leading the Wildcats as Wood has recently been named the program’s new head coach. He replaces Curtis Campbell, who stepped down after the season.
