Joel Embiid missed consecutive games due to right knee soreness with the 76ers entering a planned week of rest before the All-Star break, averaging 30 points in 20 games.

PHILADELPHIA – Sixers center Joel Embiid missed his second straight game Wednesday due to right knee soreness. Embiid missed the finale of the 76ers’ five-game Western road trip in Portland on Monday. This is the first time he’s missed consecutive games since Dec. 19-20.
