Jersey City Board of Education Reelects President, Chooses New Vice President
The Jersey City Board of Education’s trustees voted 5-4 Wednesday night to elect Noemí Velázquez to serve a second consecutive term as board president. The trustees also voted 6-3 to elect former board president Dejon Morris to replace Christopher Tisdale, whose term on the board ended in December, as vice president.
