Jefferson's East Elementary School hallway tiles a bit of a mystery

JEFFERSON — Jefferson’s East Elementary School students have, since the 1940s, walked past dozens of small, colorful and whimsical decorative ceramic tiles set into the brick walls of the school’s hallways.

Jefferson Elementary to host school board

Jefferson Elementary School Principal Adam Niedens and other staff members will share information regarding the academic programs and school improvement efforts at Jefferson when the school hosts the USD 428 Board of Education luncheon meeting. The meeting will start at noon Tuesday, March 28, at the school.
